Circle Tag

Another great challenge from Tag You're It! - to make a circular tag. Here is my effort, using a stamp by Inkadinkado.

Brown & cream Moos

These two Moos have been made for the Make a Moo or Two challenge - to use brown, beige and cream.

Winning hand

This week's Wednesday Stamper challenge was altered playing cards. I couldn't find my usual size cards, only these mini ones! So I decided to use them on an ATC. I thought the guy in the Art Journey stamp looks like a bit of a 'Jack the lad' and the sort that always has a winning hand.

Kreativ Blogger Award

My good friend RachelP on Craftswap Forum has very kindly given me this award! I have to pass it on to three friends, so I award it to Chris and Daisy who both gave me loads of help when I first set up my blog, and to Phree who is a newish member of the forum but who has joined in so many of the activities and has just started a great new blog of her own!

Rather Gothic ATC

Isn't it funny how some projects seem to evolve all on their own rather than to any plan you might have had? This ATC started out as a skinny... well I was making a skinny a few days ago and stamped the Shrine (by Stampers Anonymous) onto printed cardstock that was slightly glossy, with Versafine Ink. Now I usually find this dries well on most surfaces, but this time it just would not dry! So I put it to one side and started again on my skinny, but this time using StayzOn. The first stamping did eventually dry after 3 days, but the result was very dark, heavy and slightly fuzzy. But I thought I could use it for an ATC, so I added an image of a girl from a Paper Whimsy collage sheet to the shrine. When I looked at it again, the image and the expression on the girl's face (scared or scary?) made me think it looked a bit Gothic. I had already made the background of pink card on black, but I decided to add some torn green paper which I had stamped with Gothic Script (Viva Las Vegastamps). I then added the black bird (Art Journey) as an extra Gothic touch. A good example of a project that created itself with only a little help from me! LOL

Postage inchy

Here is my inchy for the next Inchybyinch challenge - the theme of postage. As I used a stamp on my inchy last week I decided I'd better try something different this time. And there is blog candy on offer for one lucky person who enters this challenge from Purple Faerie Paper Crafts!

Our house tag

I really enjoyed the Tag You're It! challenge this week to make a tag with the theme 'Our House'. The image of the girl is by Paper Whimsy.
