Crafty Individuals ATC Competition
Crafty Individuals recently held an ATC competition - the winning entries are now on their website, along with a lot of the other entries. There are some gorgeous examples and simply loads of inspiration for all of us ATC addicts! Take a look at: http://www.craftyindividuals.co.uk/cgi-bin/display_page.cgi?competitions
National Pride...
... is the theme on the Inchybyinch challenge to celebrate St David's Day on 1 March. Here is my effort - not very original I'm afraid. I have some Welsh friends who live in South Wales and I'm sure they would have helped by sending me some good images, if only they were not cruising around the Caribbean at the moment. Some people are so inconsiderate!

More skinnies
Here are a few more skinnies I have just made. The first one on the left has background paper by Crafts House, everything else is by Tim Holtz. For the middle one I used Glimmer Mists on all the cardstock, and the background was then run through a Cuttlebug folder; the main image stamp is by Paper Artsy, and the butterfly is by ISC. The skinny on the right was made using stamps by ISC, and the inspiration for this one was from one of the wonderful tutorials on Michelle Zindorf's blog.
Circles and Swirls...
... is the current theme by Tag You're It! . I thought this owl stamp by Katzelkraft fitted it perfectly! The flourish stamps are by Basic Grey.
Snap
Playing cards is this week's theme on the Make a Moo or Two challenge. The image of the girl on my Moo is by Paper Whimsy.

Leadership Inchy challenge
Leadership is the theme on the Inchybyinch blog this week, and I must admit that I struggled with this one! I had one or two ideas but didn't have images or stamps small enough for an inchy. Then I found the image of the girl on the moon (by art-e-zine) which gave me the idea for the first one - a bit of a play on words. Then I had the idea of the brown owl - any of you who were in the Brownies or the Guides should get this one!

Anything Goes challenge
Two skinnies made for the Anything Goes challenge on Craft Swap Forum - the theme is GREEN. On the skinny with the leaves I have used stamps by Basic Grey, and the dragonfly stamps are by Paper Artsy. I've used sticky back canvas for the embellishments on both of them - coloured with ink first and then stamped. The scan is a bit disappointing - it does not really show the backgrounds very well, they look rather dull where in fact they are quite shimmery.

Wednesday Stamper Challenge
The challenge this week on the Wednesday Stamper blog is to use hearts in a different way. I decided to make a little house and I have used lots of tiny punched hearts for the 'roof tiles'. I've used various stamps by Tim Holtz, Paper Artsy, Hero Arts and Katzelkraft.

Winter Inchies
I think this week's weather has influenced the theme for the Inchybyinch challenge - which is Winter!

Six Skinnies!
I decided to make a couple of skinnies at the weekend, for a swap I am involved in on Craft Swap Forum... but when I started I couldn't stop! There is no theme for this swap, so it is a great opportunity to try out new ideas and have a play. I've used a variety of stamps here, some new ones and some old favourites, most of the backgrounds have been created using Distress or dye inks, and I have used Cast Away ink on one of the backgrounds. You may notice that I've used some more of Tim Holtz's masks on some of them. There is one in particular that I am really pleased with... I wonder if you can guess which one it is?
Purple Tag
Purple is the theme on Tag You're It! this week... one of my favourite colours! I have used DCWV cardstock for the background and sponged Distress ink over one of Tim Holtz's masks, and I have also used one of Tim's grunge board swirls embossed with purple ep. The stamp is by Paper Artsy.
