The Inchybyinch blog is one year old! This week the theme is BLING and I decided to make a celebratory inchy and then put it onto a tiny card. Happy Birthday Inchy by Inch!
A couple of inchies for this week's Inchybyinch theme - butterflies. The French text (stamp by Katzelkraft) means 'wings to fly' which I thought was perfect for the theme, as well as just fitting on the bottom of my inchies!
A couple of inchies made for the Inchybyinch challnge this week - to use black and white and counterchange the colours. The little owl stamp is by Inkadinkado.
These inchies are for two challenges this week - the Inchybyinch theme is to include some yellow and the Small world of inchies theme is Spring. I don't feel too guilty combining the two challenges as I have made six!
... is the theme on the Inchybyinch challenge to celebrate St David's Day on 1 March. Here is my effort - not very original I'm afraid. I have some Welsh friends who live in South Wales and I'm sure they would have helped by sending me some good images, if only they were not cruising around the Caribbean at the moment. Some people are so inconsiderate!
Leadership is the theme on the Inchybyinch blog this week, and I must admit that I struggled with this one! I had one or two ideas but didn't have images or stamps small enough for an inchy. Then I found the image of the girl on the moon (by art-e-zine) which gave me the idea for the first one - a bit of a play on words. Then I had the idea of the brown owl - any of you who were in the Brownies or the Guides should get this one!
... a purple hat! I was really pleased to discover that the Inchybyinch challenge theme this week is FACES. It gave me the opportunity to use a stamp by Rivercity Rubberworks that I have just bought.
Yes, music is the theme this week on the Inchybyinch blog. I've made a very simple one - stamped the music background onto card and then added the gold charm.
I'm in love with the Versamark pen! I've just bought one of these and thought I would try it out on this inchy for the Inchybyinch challenge this week - Autumn Leaves. This was so simple to make - I used a black and white line drawing snipped from an old book, coloured the leaves and acorns with marker pens, went over them with the Versamark pen and embossed with clear ep. Then I sponged some Distress inks over the background to add a little colour. I was pleased with the result - the leaves are lovely and glossy and raised up from the surface. Why have I never bought one of these pens before!??
