Q for...
... QUIET! The Alphabet Challenge Blog has reached Q - doesn't seem like more than a week or two since it started. I've used one of my old favourite stamps by Paperbag Studios for this card, and the background panel was created using gesso and various inks. The acetate flower was cut using a Cuttlebug die and I had run the acetate through an embossing folder first.

Golden Wedding card
This is a card I made for my Mum to give to some friends who are celebrating their Gold anniversary next month. I took my inspiration entirely from Mel of Melz Scrappy Junk - she makes some fabulous cards! Thank you Mel.

My time to craft challenge
This week's challenge on the My Time to Craft blog is 'No patterned papers' - to create your own background papers. This was not difficult for me as I don't often use patterned papers anyway! On this card I have used some Core'dinatinations Whitewash card that I ran through a Cuttlebug embossing folder, and the background for the quote was stamped with a Tim Holtz texture stamp. The quote and butterfly are stamps by Creative Expressions.
