Isn't it funny how some projects seem to evolve all on their own rather than to any plan you might have had? This ATC started out as a skinny... well I was making a skinny a few days ago and stamped the Shrine (by Stampers Anonymous) onto printed cardstock that was slightly glossy, with Versafine Ink. Now I usually find this dries well on most surfaces, but this time it just would not dry! So I put it to one side and started again on my skinny, but this time using StayzOn. The first stamping did eventually dry after 3 days, but the result was very dark, heavy and slightly fuzzy. But I thought I could use it for an ATC, so I added an image of a girl from a Paper Whimsy collage sheet to the shrine. When I looked at it again, the image and the expression on the girl's face (scared or scary?) made me think it looked a bit Gothic. I had already made the background of pink card on black, but I decided to add some torn green paper which I had stamped with Gothic Script (Viva Las Vegastamps). I then added the black bird (Art Journey) as an extra Gothic touch. A good example of a project that created itself with only a little help from me! LOL
