M and N for...
... Moos, Men and Numbers! Sadly the Make a Moo or Two Challenge has finished for the moment, so I have decided to try and do all the challenges I missed over the year and a half. Here are a couple I have just made on the themes of vintage and numbers - but they also fit in well for the current and next week's challenges on the Alphabet Challenge Blog.

Kokopelli card
I wanted to have a go at a technique that was featured in Craft Stamper magazine a couple of months ago - using acrylic paint and an old credit card to spread over cardstock to create a background. I had a go at two, the first one I liked and used on this card, but the other one was rubbish! There might be a few small areas I can use but the rest will probably end up in the bin! I didn't have any particular design in mind but I thought the background would go well with this Kokopelli stamp (by Viva Las Vegastamps).

Twit and Twoo
Owls are the subject of the Inchybyinch challenge this week. As well as these two inchies, I have included a small card I made a while ago - the short poem I wrote on it was composed by one of my friends and it always makes me smile! Sorry I have scanned it a bit wonky! I've been asked to post the poem as it is so small - so here it is:
Owl sitting on a tree
Looking down at you and me
Looking down with golden eyes
Please tell us how you are so wise
Looking down on me and you
When all you do is twit and twoo
Looking down at you and me
Looking down with golden eyes
Please tell us how you are so wise
Looking down on me and you
When all you do is twit and twoo

Black + 2 Moo
This week's challenge on the Make a Moo or Two blog is to use black plus two other colours. As you can see, I decided to go with red, white and black.
L for...
... leaves. Another skinny - this time for the Alphabet Challenge Blog . The background paper and butterfly stamp are by Crafty Individuals, and the leaf stamps by Stampendous.

Alphabet Moo
The alphabet is the latest theme on the Make a Moo or Two blog - here I've used an alphabet stamp by Paperbag Studios and the image of the children is courtesy of Clearly Vintage.

Purple and green
I made this card for the Wednesday Stamper challenge this week, for their theme of purple and green. The main image stamp is by Katy's Corner and I have used some of my new Alcohol Inks Lights for the background. On the purple panel I've used a Tim Holtz mask, the 'Hopes and Dreams' stamp is by Crafty Individuals, and the butterfly is by ISC.
